From Great Starts Come Great Things - meet the athletes

Article by Roberto Fuzzy

Team Kellogg's athletes have worked hard, gone through a rigorous season of trials and qualification events, all for the sake of making a big impact, both on the podium and also in the lives of kids in need. They are there to inspire you and help the kids. They are there to show you that from great starts come great things, that everyone can make a difference. The athletes together with Kellogg's try to share more than 2 million breakfast for kids who need it.

Watch the Start Stories of the athletes at Kelloggs.com/teamusa, tweet about them, pin them, share them, all for the sake of helping Kellogg's provide kids free breakfast, considering each great start that you give, adds $.27 to the breakfast pool, and so up to $540 000.

The stories of the athletes are different, but one thing is the same, they are all inspirational. And six of Team Kellogg's athletes made it to Team USA at the 2014 Sochi Games that are set to start on Feb 7 when the Opening Ceremony will be taking place.

We congratulate Team Kellogg's, an amazing group of athletes who remind fans everywhere that each day is filled with the potential to achieve your goals when you start it off right, said Noel Geoffroy, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Innovation for Kellogg's U.S. Morning Foods. We celebrate all of the great starts along their journey toward the Games, and look forward to many more as we cheer them on in Sochi.
